Udhampur :TDD, A significant political worker meeting was organized at Nand Palace in Udhampur, bringing together local residents from Tikri Malhar and Jaganoo blocks of the Udhampur East Assembly constituency. The gathering saw participation from thousands of workers, including women, elderly, youth, and local residents from both blocks.
The meeting was attended by prominent figures including Pawan Khajuria, who contested independently in the assembly elections, DDC members Parikshit Singh from Jaganoo and Advocate Amit Sharma from Majalta, along with several sarpanches and community leaders. Notable attendees included Swaran Singh Rathore, Sarpanch Panada Rajesh Sharma, Raj Kumar Bucha, and numerous other local leaders and women representatives.
During the Programme , Pawan Khajuria expressed his gratitude to all participants, highlighting their dedicated efforts during the elections despite the time constraints. He noted that their hard work resulted in securing approximately 31,000 votes. Khajuria emphasized that their meeting series would continue even after the elections and assured the gathering of his unwavering support for addressing their concerns.
In his address, Khajuria made a significant commitment to the community, stating that he would be available round the clock to help resolve issues related to district administration, state government, or central level matters. He emphasized that his time would be dedicated to serving the people of the Eastern constituency, expressing gratitude to his voters while also extending support to those who didn’t vote for him.
The meeting concluded with Khajuria announcing his intention to work not only for the Eastern Assembly constituency but for the entire Udhampur district. He also declared his commitment to contest the upcoming Panchayat and Municipality elections with full strength, demonstrating his continued dedication to local governance and development.TDD
