Ramban, TDD ,On the directions of Drug Controller J&K Lotika Khajuria, Drug Control Department conducted inspection of Medical Shops at Ramban Town with the objective to ensure compliance with the directives regarding the installation of CCTV cameras and the implementation of computerized billing systems and to ensure compliance with regulations regarding the maintenance of psychotropic drugs records.
During the inspections, a team headed by Assistant Drug Controller Sanjeev Kumar Gupta conducted inspections of Jan Aushadhi Kendra District Hospital Ramban and Chemists of Ramban town.
Drug Control Officer Jammu Tajver Singh, emphasized that inspection primarily focused on verifying the installation of CCTV cameras and Computerized Billing System and it was observed that all the inspected firms have installed CCTV cameras and adopted computerized billing systems.
The Drug Control Officer Ramban Imitaz Ahmed underscored the significance of monitoring CCTV footage to verify that the cameras effectively serve their intended function of deterring improper practices. The implementation of these measures will foster transparency in transactions, strengthen inventory management and promote overall accountability within the district’s pharmaceutical sector.
