Lecture Series for Students Organized by Central University of Jammu

Jammu: TDD,The Training & Placement Office of the Central University of Jammu, under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, organized a dynamic series of guest lectures for engineering students. This initiative was aimed at equipping students with specialized knowledge, practical skills, diverse perspectives, and valuable industry connections to prepare them for real-world challenges.
The series featured eminent speakers, including Sandesh Kumar (General Manager and Global Head of Recruitments, Wipro), Ashish Bhalla (Ex-HCL ITE and Campus Head), executives from Scalar, and scientists from the prestigious Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). These industry leaders shared their expertise, offering invaluable insights into organizational success, employee satisfaction, and the critical role of emerging technologies in today’s competitive landscape.
A total of 150 students participated in the event, engaging in highly interactive Q&A sessions that allowed them to connect directly with the speakers. This hands-on exposure provided students with a platform to interact with corporate professionals and gain practical insights essential for their future careers.

The guest lecture series was praised for its emphasis on fostering a deeper understanding of real-world scenarios, helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
Prof. Yashwant Singh Registrar, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jha HoD, ECE, and Dr. Dinesh Kumar Professor, CS-IT, along with other faculty members, delivered special remarks at the conclusion of the event, commending the initiative for its significant impact on student development.
Viraj Magotra, Training and Placement officer, CU Jammu said that the Training & Placement Office is tirelessly working to bring seasoned corporate personnel to our campus to motivate and inspire our students. This initiative not only enhances their knowledge and skills but also gives them a competitive edge in pursuing their passions.
The event is expected to boost the university’s hiring process and further solidify its reputation as a center of excellence.TDD
