BSF Opens Fire at Suspicious Movement Along Pakistan Border in RS Pura Sector on New Year’s Eve

JAMMU :TDD, Personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) opened multiple rounds of firing after suspicious movement was detected along the International Border in Jammu’s RS Pura sector during the first hours of the new year.

According to initial reports, alert BSF troops stationed in the forward areas of RS Pura sector spotted suspicious movement near the border fence around midnight. Acting swiftly on the potential security threat, the BSF sentry opened fire, discharging over a dozen rounds in the direction of the suspicious activity.

Following the incident, BSF conducted massive search operations in the forward areas to check if there was any attempted infiltration bid. The search operation is being carried out with more vigilance in view of the fact that it is an International Border and also previous attempts at infiltration in this sector.TDD
