Udhampur :TDD, A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pawan Khajuria, an independent candidate from the Eastern Assembly constituency of Udhampur, to discuss the upcoming Panchayat and local body elections. The meeting brought together party workers from all regions of Udhampur district, with representatives from all four assembly constituencies participating in detailed discussions about the electoral contests ahead.
It was agreed to put independent candidates in all Panchayat and local body elections across Udhampur district under the leadership of Pawan Khajuria and his team. The workers were encouraged to come together within their respective Panchayats and urban wards to project those candidates who enjoy a clean public image and are committed to social service, thereby ensuring that they can fulfill public expectations fully and serve the community effectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Khajuria and other leaders stressed that the sole objective of these leaders is beyond getting into seats of power only. Instead, it is more to remain all the time geared up to the task of rendering services to people. They also urged all the workers to make a collective choice about the best nominees for the maximum win in their respective elections.
A plethora of distinguished leaders from local positions attended the gathering. There were also many DDC members, among which were Parikshit Singh and Amit Sharma. Several Sarpanchs like Swaran Singh Rathour, Raj Kumar Buchha, Yash Ji, Arjun Singh, Manmohan Raina, and Balwant Raj were there to represent. It also consisted of Captain Gopal Singh, Bishan Das, Rakesh Sharma, Sushil Sethi, and more as community representatives and other various faces, demonstrating support for independent politics in this area.TDD
