Srinagar, DD: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has expressed deep grief and shock over the murder of a pregnant woman by her husband in Aishmuqam, Anantnag, and termed it “a heinous crime” that has “deeply shocked and disturbed everyone.”
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari wrote on his X handle, “It is hard to comprehend how someone could be as cruel and heartless as to murder his pregnant wife and then burn her body in an attempt to hide the crime. Over three months later, the police has today recovered the remains of the 35-year-old victim from a cowshed at her in-laws’ residence in Aishmuqam, Anantnag.”
“This heinous act has deeply shocked and disturbed everyone. My deepest sympathies go out to the victim’s parents. The perpetrator must be brought to justice and face the severest punishment,” he added.DD
