JAMMU: DD, The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today apprehended a Probationary Sub Inspector (PSI) and a driver of Jammu and Kashmir Police red-handed while accepting bribe here at the police post GMC Jammu.
As per the media reports, the ACB received complaints that the officer allegedly demanded bribes from the vendors and accordingly, a trap was laid by the anti-graft team along-with the magistrate and independent witnesses.
During the raid, the reports claim that the ACB team arrested the PSI red-handed along with his driver from the Police Post.
In this regard, a case against the allegedly accused officials was registered and further investigation has been initiated simultaneous raids at the residence and other places.DD
