Kishtwar, DD: The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Sh. Phulail Singh, JKAS who is also holding charge of Project Manager, IWMP Kishtwar, conducted a Gram Sabha at Pyt Ghar Jar today in view to promote community led development and water conservation in Block Padder under the ageis of PMKSY 2.0.
The event focused on PMKSY 2.0, where Phulail Singh, JKAS discussed ongoing works, discussed and finalized plan for FY 2025-26 within ambit of governing guidelines and created awareness about IWMP projects. He also flagged off the pre-launch phase of the Watershed Yatra from Pyt Ghar Jar to Karthie, emphasizing community involvement in water conservation efforts.
Later, Phulail Singh inspected ongoing developmental works in Jar and Affanni Panchayats, stressing the importance of timely completion and quality assurance. He instructed contractors to execute works within the stipulated timeframe and ensured that quality standards are met. Additionally, he mandated the installation of Community Information Boards (CIB) on works, promoting transparency and accountability in the execution of works/projects.
The program was attended by Sanjay Sharma, Jr Engineer/TA, field functionaries, ex-PRIs, water & Sanitation committe members, members of SHG, VDMCs, general public at large.DD
