Kishtwar, DD, The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Sh. Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, JKAS, today conducted a comprehensive review meeting of Block Dachhan, Kishtwar, Drabshalla, Bunjwah, Nagseni, Padder and Trigam. The meeting focused on assessing the progress of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA and PMAY-G.
The meeting was attended by Block Development Officers (BDOs), Assistant Engineers (AEs) Rural Engineering Wing (REW) Kishtwar, Assistant Director Planning, Assistant Accounts Officer ACD Office Kishtwar, Panchayat Inspectors, Panchayat Secretaries, Junior Engineers/Technical Assistants, MIS Operators, GRSs and Sh.Sheikh Asif MIS Operator. During the meeting, ACD expressed deep concern over the abysmal wage employment and directed the concerned functionaries to expedite and provide Person Days (PDs) to eligible job card holders, ensure timely payments and achieve targets.
The ACD emphasized the importance of completing works, geotagging of assets, and verifying self-survey cases on top priority. He also stressed the need for concerted efforts to achieve desired targets and warned that any lackadaisical approach would not be tolerated at any level. The ACD further emphasized the importance of punctuality, delivery of public services and transparency in work. He directed the concerned officials to ensure that the targets are met within the stipulated timeframe and that the benefits of the schemes reach the intended beneficiaries.
The meeting concluded with a clear message that the Administration is committed to ensuring the effective implementation of rural development schemes and that strict action would be taken against poor-performing officials.
