Kishtwar,TDD, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Phulail Singh, conducted an inspection tour of the far-flung Panchayat Hiloor, Sangna, Bhutna Churyana of Kuntwara Belt in Block Drabshalla today aimed to review the developmental scenario, inspect ongoing works, and ensure timely completion without compromising quality.
ACD directed contractors to adhere to quality standards and complete works promptly. He emphasized maintaining quality standards and installing Community Information Boards (CIB) at each work site. Field functionaries were instructed to enhance supervision and monitoring of developmental works.
Moreover, he urged job seekers to come forward in view of wage employment may provided within the MGNREGA scheme. Futher, PMAY-G beneficiaries were instructed to ensure early completion of houses. Regarding SBM-G, he asked that behavioral change in this aspect is crucial and instructed for optimal utilization of assets created under SBM-G and functionality thereof.
A key focus area during the visit was the selection of land for constructing Panchayat Ghar Hiloor, undertaken in collaboration with local residents that demonstrates the administration’s commitment to community-driven development.
Additionally, Singh attended a Public Grievance Redressal Camp, where grievances were resolved on the spot. He directed field functionaries to ensure timely redress of public concerns promptly.
