ADDC Leh Reviews Progress of Samagra Shiksha Scheme

Leh, DD, Additional District Development Commissioner Leh, Sonam Nurboo (JKAS) chaired a review meeting on the Samagra Shiksha Scheme on 7 August at Mini Conference Hall of the DC Office, Leh.

During the meeting, the ADDC directed all participating departments to present detailed updates on their ongoing works, and specifically asked each office to report on the physical progress and financial status of projects falling under their jurisdiction. He directed all concerned departments to complete the ongoing works under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme within two months. He also instructed that in the next review meeting, each department must submit a detailed progress report. Additionally, the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) must be sent to the CEO, Leh in a timely manner to facilitate monitoring and fund release processes.

During the meeting, the Chief Education Officers Leh Deldan Angmo presented a details report on the work done under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme .

The meeting focused on improving inter-departmental coordination, timely fund utilization, and effective implementation of infrastructure projects under the scheme. The ADDC underscored the importance of accountability and urged all officers to work collectively to achieve the targets set under Samagra Shiksha.

The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineers of PWD and PDD, Chief Education Officer , Executive Engineers from SSD Khalsi, Nubra, Nyoma, R&B, and REW Divisions, as well as Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) from Leh, Khaltsi, Nubra, Durbuk, and Nyoma and other officers,DD
