Rajouri: DD, An Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, Raj Kumar Thappa has martyred in the line of duty in Rajouri.
The senior officer lost his life while serving the people, when Pakistan targeted civilian areas with heavy shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri.
The Pakistani Army continued to violate peace across the LoC using heavy artillery gun fire that hit the civilian areas, as per the reports.
In this cross border shelling, the reports claim that the ADDC Rajouri sustained critical injuries and reportedly succumbed while being shifted to the hospital. Although the officials are yet to disclose the loss of the innocent life of a civilian officer, the reports said that the civilian population was in panic because of Pakistan’s firing using heavy ammunition / artillery that hit the civilian population.
There are reports of damage to private property as well.DD
