ADG WESTERN COMMAND REVIEWS SECURITY SENARIO ALONG INDO-PAK BORDER OF JAMMU FRONTIER

Jammu: DD, Additional Director General (Western command), Satish S Khandare, on Saturday today reviewed the security scenario on the Indo-Pak border.
The ADG has arrived here at the BSF Jammu Frontier on a three-day visit to review the security scenario on Jammu International Border.
Accordingly, he visited the border areas in Hiranagar sector, wherein he was briefed on the operational aspects by the field commanders.
During visit ADG BSF interacted on critical aspects of border management including general security scenario and domination along the IB.
He also visited the Akhnoor border area, where he was briefed by the Sector Commander and Battalion Commandant about the operational preparedness of the BSF along the border.
During field visit, he interacted with the troops and appreciated them for performing their duties with dedication and professionalism.
Meanwhile, the ADG BSF addressed Prahari Sammelan at the Frontier Headquarters and praised the troops for their dedication towards border duties and told them to maintain effective border domination to prevent anti-national activities.DD
