Kishtwar, TDD,In a bid to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in Kishtwar town and direction of DM/DC Kishtwar Sh. R.K.SHAVAN, Additional District Magistrate (ADM)/ACD Kishtwar Kishtwar, Sh. Phulail Singh, conducted a special cleanliness drive today from Kuleed to Zellna Kishtwar. The drive was part of the district administration’s efforts to ensure a healthy and beautiful environment for the residents and visitors of Kishtwar town.
During the drive, Sh. Phulail Singh inspected various shops, Dhabas, and market areas, and instructed the owners to ensure sanitation measures, including white paint on shutters of shops in a uniform pattern, tiles flooring, and cooperation for the beautification of Kishtwar town. He also urged shopkeepers to ensure no use of polythene and maintain surrounding cleanliness.
The ADM emphasized the importance of adhering to cleanliness parameters, warning that failure to do so would invite action. He also appealed to the residents of Kishtwar town to cooperate with the district administration in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the town.
The cleanliness drive was also attended by BDO Kishtwar, Sanjeev Kotwal, and other officials. The district administration has launched a series of initiatives to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in Kishtwar town.TDD
