Srinagar, (DD):In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and posting of 24 IAS and JKAS officers with immediate effect, aiming to enhance governance and streamline public service delivery across the Union Territory.
According to the official order, several senior bureaucrats have been reassigned key roles in departments and districts.
Key Appointments Include:
Akshay Labroo (IAS) has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, replacing Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, who has been posted as DC Budgam.
Faz Lul Haseeb (IAS) is the new Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC). He will also hold charge as CEO, Srinagar Smart City Project.
Anil Kumar Singh (IAS) has been posted as Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, and will also oversee the Mining Department, relieving IPS officer Vikramjit Singh of the additional charge.
Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (IAS) has been posted as Secretary, Science and Technology Department, and will also hold charge of the Civil Aviation Department.
Saurabh Bhagat (IAS) moves to the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs as Commissioner/Secretary.
Zubair Ahmad (JKAS) takes over the Floriculture, Parks, and Gardens Department.
Dr. Piyush Singla (IAS) has been posted as Secretary, Information Technology Department.
Naveen S L (IAS) becomes Secretary, Transport Department.
Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary (IAS) is appointed Mission Director, National Health Mission.
Shreya Singhal (IAS) takes charge as Managing Director, J&K Tourism Development Corporation and CEO, JK ERA.
Ananth Dwivedi (IAS) is now CEO, State Health Agency and Mission Director, Ayush Bharat Digital Health Mission.
Mahima Madan (IAS) has been posted as CEO, JaKeGA, and Additional Secretary, Resident Commission, New Delhi.
Other notable changes include new postings for Rupesh Kumar (VC, Jammu Development Authority), Shahzad Alam (Director, Skill Development), Owais Ahmad (Director, Food Civil Supplies, Kashmir), and Pankaj Kumar Sharma (DC Kishtwar).
The reshuffle is being seen as part of a broader push to energize administrative machinery and ensure effective delivery of key governance initiatives across J&K.(DD)
