Srinagar,(TDD): The fourth batch of 99 Agniveers was officially attested today in a grand ceremony at the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) Regimental Centre, marking the successful completion of their 31 weeks of rigorous training. This event celebrates their unwavering commitment and readiness to serve the nation.
In a statement to The Diplomat, the Defence Spokesman in Srinagar said: “The ceremony commenced with a National Salute to the flag, followed by a formal parade and oath-taking. In a heartwarming gesture, the proud parents of the Agniveers were presented with the ‘Gaurav Padak,’ recognizing their selfless support and sacrifices for their children’s dedication to national service.”
The spokesperson further remarked: “This attestation is not just a ceremony, but a celebration of resilience, discipline and the spirit–(TDD)
