AIDS Awareness Rally by Red Ribbon Club and NSS Units at GGM Science College

Jammu :TDD, The Red Ribbon Club, in collaboration with the NSS units of GGM Science College, organized an awareness rally as part of AIDS Awareness Week. The rally was flagged off by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, outside their chamber. In his address, he emphasized the importance of educating society about HIV/AIDS to break stigmas and encourage early detection and prevention. Participants marched around the college, raising awareness through enthusiastic slogan chanting. Students held posters in their hands, highlighting the theme of AIDS awareness, as they chanted slogans. The rally concluded at the main gate, effectively spreading the message of AIDS awareness.

The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. P.S. Thakur, Dr. Bhekampal Singh, Prof. Sunita Kumari, Dr. Arti Sharma, and NSS Programme Officers Dr. Rahul Kait and Dr. Neha Sharma. Eminent faculty members Dr. Sunil Dutt Sharma, Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Prof. Bal Krishna, Prof. Kiran Bala, Dr. Arti Sharma, Dr. Arti Heer, Dr. Brinder Kumar, and Dr. Narinder Kumar were also part of the rally, supporting the cause. The committee members also apprised students about the theme of the rally, highlighting the significance of collective efforts in combating HIV/AIDS. Their guidance, along with the active participation of students, ensured the success of the event.TDD
