Jammu: TDD,In a well coordinated operation conducted in the dense jungles of Battal in Akhnoor, the Indian Army, J&K Police and other security agencies have successfully neutralized three terrorists.
Following their kiing, the security forces recovered a massive cache of war-like stores, including a wide range of ammunition and weapons.
The operation, which took place in the rugged terrain of the Battal region, resulted in the elimination of three heavily armed militants, disrupting their nefarious plans. The recovered items include: 1 M4 rifle, 2 AK-47 rifles, 3 M4 magazines, 8 AK-47 magazines, 1 pistol, 20 rounds of 9mm pistol ammunition, 77 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 129 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, 1 solar panel,3 knives, 1 power bank with USB cable, 1 pair of binoculars, 1 hand grenade, 2 pistol cases, 1 digital Casio watch, 1 small red notebook, 1 sentry silencer (Fandha), 3 pairs of shoes, 3 ammunition pouches, 4 ponchos, 3 blankets, 1 side pouch, 2 shirts, 4 trousers, 1 wire cutter, 1 screwdriver, 22 pencil cells, 3 bundles of cotton packets, 3 bundles of cotton patty, 2 napkins, 3 bottles of honey,8 one-liter plastic water bottles, 2 pieces of chindi (rags), 3 backpacks/rucksacks, 4 bottles of liquid medicines, 15 loose medicines, 2 packets of cashew (Kaju, approx. 200 gms), 3 packets of dates (Khajoor, approx. 200 gms), 2 packets of chana (approx. 200 gms), 3 packets of raisins (Kismish, approx. 200 gms), 2 packets of almonds (Badam, approx. 200 gms), 2 packets of candy, 1 scissor, 1 bottle of weapon oil (100ml),1 toothbrush, 3 lighters,1 ointment, 1 belt,4 pairs of socks, 1 piece of green thread, 3 dry coconuts, 4 tubes of edible paste (yellow), 1 pair of gloves, 2 polythene sets, 4 zip ties, 3 small bottles of Betadine with drip
The recovery of this substantial cache of ammunition, weapons, and other items highlights the ongoing efforts of the Indian Army to disrupt the activities of terrorists and maintain peace and security in the region. The successful operation has dealt a significant blow to the militant’s capabilities and resources, preventing them from carrying out any further nefarious activities.TDD
