Alert in Jammu As Police Recovers ‘Telescope’ from Sidhra

Jammu: Police today claimed to have recovered a telescope – that is used to mount an assault rifle – from Sidhra area, leading to a massive search operation in the area.
Soon after the recovery, the Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police along with other security agencies cordoned the area, and launched a cordon and search operation.
The police have advised people not to panic. Meanwhile, an alert has been sounded in Jammu and its adjoining area whereas naka checking has been intensified to check any suspected person. Further investigation into the matter is in progress.DD
