SAMBA: DD, Security Forces today launched a search operation in Samba District following a suspected Pakistani drone activity that as spotted in the border district.
The suspected activity was noticed hovering over the vital installations in Samba while moving from west to east over a military garrison in Bari Brahman (Samba), this morning, as per the reports.
An alert was immediately sounded and quick reaction teams of the Army were activated.
Police were also informed and a joint search operation was launched to ensure that there was no airdropping of weapons or narcotics, the officials said. (Agencies)
