Jammu,DD: Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) today ordered closing of all the schools in Jammu Division in the wake of inclement weather conditions up to September 5, 2025.
“…all government and private schools across Jammu Division shall remain closed till 05-09-2025 to ensure the safety of students and staff,” said the Director School Edication, Jammu, in an order.
It further cited that the weather alert issued by the IMD and subsequent situation following incessant rains, landslides, flash floods, and severe waterlogging in low-lying areas.
Meanwhile, it was ordered that online classes shall be conducted wherever possible to maintain continuity of education.DD
