Aizawl, Mizoram, DD,Jammu & Kashmir’s son of the soil, Amit Sharma, IAS in the AGMUT cadre, who is currently serving in the state of Mizoram, has been re-designated as Secretary to the Government of Mizoram vide Notification issued today by the Government of Mizoram, after having been promoted to the Selection Grade (Level 13 in the Pay Matrix) of Indian Administrative Service vide recent MHA’s Order dated 01.01.2025.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Amit Sharma was serving as Special Secretary (Independent Charge) of Information, Communications & Technology (ICT) and Cooperation departments in the Government of Mizoram since his joining there and he has been instrumental in taking key initiatives in both these departments to take Mizoram to new heights.
Alongwith Amit Sharma, another officer namely, Zorammuana, IAS, Spl Secy (Ind. Charge) P&S department has also been re-designated as Secretary to Government of Mizoram in the same Notification.DD
