Anjumans holds Protest in Jammu Against Shia Genocide in Pakistan

Jammu: Shia Anjumans of the Jammu Province on Friday organised protest demonstrations to strongly condemn the ongoing Shia genocide in Pakistan, particularly the recent cowardly attack on a Shia mosque in Islamabad.

A protest march was taken out by Anjuman Imamia Jammu in collaboration with Anjuman Hyderi, New Plot, and the All Ladakh Muslim Students Federation. The march commenced from the Karbala Complex and culminated at Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu, where participants vociferously raised slogans against sectarian violence and terrorism.

The protesters expressed deep anguish over the continued targeted killings of Shia Muslims in Pakistan and demanded immediate and effective measures to ensure the safety and security of the Shia community. They also appealed to the international community, human rights organisations, and peace-loving people across the world to take serious cognisance of these grave human rights violations.

Meanwhile, candlelight marches were organised by Anjuman Jaferia Poonch and Tanzeem Momneen Mandi to pay homage to the martyrs and to express solidarity with the families of the victims.

The organisers reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful protest and urged all concerned authorities to act decisively to put an end to sectarian violence and ensure justice for the victims.

If you want it made slightly sharper for a newspaper front page or softened for an official press release, I can tweak the tone accordingly.DD
