Jammu, June 13(DD): In a continuing crackdown on dangerous stunt riding, Traffic Police City Jammu has booked yet another individual—identified as Arman Choudhary, popularly known as Arman Rider—for performing life-threatening stunts on public roads, particularly the Sidhra Flyover stretch.

According to official sources, Arman Choudhary, son of Bashir Ahmed and a resident of Bermini Morh, Bhatindi Top, Jammu, has been charged under FIR No. 130/2025 registered at Police Station Nagrota under Sections 281 and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Arman is a well-known YouTuber and social media influencer, operating the channel “ARMAN RIDER” (@armanrider011), which boasts 26.4K subscribers on YouTube and over 87.6K followers on Instagram. He has repeatedly been reported by concerned citizens for performing dangerous motorcycle stunts on major stretches, including Sidhra Bypass, Ring Road, and the Jammu–Samba highway.

Authorities stated that despite being contacted several times via phone and summoned to appear at the Traffic Police Office (TPO) Jammu, Choudhary failed to comply, prompting formal legal action.

The police expressed concern over his growing influence among youth, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir and neighbouring states, where such content encourages young individuals to imitate hazardous and illegal acts on roads.

Reiterating its commitment to road safety, the Traffic Police has urged parents and guardians to counsel their children against such reckless behaviour. The public has been requested to report any stunt-related activities using the following helplines:

Traffic Control Unit (TCU Jammu): 0191-2459048

Toll-Free Number: 103

Mobile/WhatsApp: 9419147732

Email: ssptrfcjmu@jkpolice.gov.in (official ID of SSP Traffic City Jammu)

Officials emphasized that anyone caught indulging in such endangering activities will be dealt with strictly under the law(DD)
