JAMMU: DD, The sleuths of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) today claimed busted a nexus of narcotics smugglers and arrested four inter-state smugglers in Jammu.
As per the officials, a case FIR Number 1 of 2025 under section 8/20/25/29 NDPS Act of Police Station ANTF Jammu busted backward and forward linkages (Inter-state network) and arrested one inter-state drug supplier Kamal Kant, son of Chande Ram, resident of Ward No 4 Pathla, P/O Jari District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh in backward chain.
Accordingly, in forward chain one drug peddler Ankush Gupta, son of Lt. Kamal Kishore, resident of Talab Tillo Bhori, Jammu was also arrested during the course of investigation.
Pertinently, two accused namely Akshay Dogra, son of Brij Lal Dogra, resident of Talab Tillo Jammu and Arun Manhas, son of Gurvinder Singh Manhas, resident of Pathankot in Punjab were already arrested in the instant case and both are in judicial custody.
ANTF Jammu successfully busted interstate drug smuggling nexus arrested total four accused in the instant case.
These arrest highlights the continuing efforts of ANTF and targetting individual and inter-state network involved in the illegal drug trade. Further investigation is going on.DD
