SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh Inaugurates Margi Police Post

WARWAN (Kishtwar): DD, The anti – terror grid has been tightened in Kishtwar District’s upper reaches to curb anti-national activities, while keeping watch on the movement on the tracking routes that connects Warwan’s mountain passes with Pahalgam.
The decision to establish a police post at Margi was taken, following a terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 innocent lives of the pilgrims, and locals on April 22.
Although the security agencies have been working jointly to trace down the terrorists, the reports said that J&K Police have established a Police Post on the higher reaches at Margi village in Warwan Sub Division of Kishtwar District to counter the terror activities as well as provide safety and security to the people in the hilly region.
Warwan has villages like Afti, Basmeena, Choidraman, Inshan, Margi, Mulwarwar, and Sukhnaie. The police post at Margi will provide support to the villagers, recently, the cops helped the cloudburst victims, and also keep eye on the anti-national activities in the higher reaches.
The Police Post was inaugurated by the SSP Kishtwar, Naresh Singh, and he was accompanied to the Post Post at Margi village.
He appreciated the policemen for their dedication to ensure safety and security of the people. On this occasion, SDPO Marwah, Vijay Bhagat , SHO Warwan, Zaheer Iqbal, and other police officials were also there.DD
