Ghulam Hassan Mir chairs the meet; Vijay Bakaya calls for KP’s political and economic empowerment

Srinagar, TDD: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party today organized an interactive session with its Kashmiri Pandit (KP) wing to address the community’s persistent challenges and concerns.
Speaking at this meeting, Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir underscored the importance of the Kashmiri Pandit community, stating, “Kashmir is incomplete without them.”
Mir reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to ensuring their dignified rehabilitation and integration back into their homeland.
Apni Party General Secretary Vijay Bakaya emphasized the need for political empowerment of Kashmiri Pandits, stating, “Political representation and empowerment are critical to ensuring that the Kashmiri Pandit community has a voice to resolve its challenges effectively.”
He further added, “We cannot allow the issues of our community to be overlooked. Apni Party will ensure that camps and settlements receive essential resources and that a roadmap for permanent rehabilitation is laid out.”
Bakaya also expressed optimism, saying, “The Kashmiri Pandit community’s resilience and cultural contribution have been unmatched. We will stand shoulder-to-shoulder to protect their rights and secure a dignified future.”
The party reaffirmed its dedication to safeguarding the rights, welfare, and aspirations of the KP community, pledging continuous support and advocacy.
