Udhampur:TDD,Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander Northern Command and all at the Dhruva Command of Indian Army’s Northern Command presented warm greetings and good wishes to the officers and families of Indian Navy, veterans and their families, veteran navalists and the active armed forces personnel, as the Naval force celebrated it’s 53rd Raising Day. The date marks more than 50 years since the formal inception of the Indian Navy as a separate and independent arm of the Indian armed forces, confirming its vital importance in the defense of the country’s maritime and territorial domains.
While paying tribute to the naval forces of the Indian Army, Lt Gen Kumar did not forget to mention those who are devoted and sacrificing all for safeguarding India’s maritime boundaries and interests across the oceans. Such recognition by the Command of Dhruva Army enhances the relations and the bonds between various Arms of the military of India and their regards towards safeguarding the borders of the nation.
