Poonch:TDD, The Indian Army troops today detected a suspicious drone activity close to Shahpur Mandhar in Poonch District along the Line of Control, this morning.
“The alert troops detected a drone during early morning hours and accordingly, they fired some rounds at the drone, compelling it to return (Pakistani side), ” said the sources, quoting the officials.
They said that the troops have sounded and alerted along the Line of Control in Poonch.
Pertinently, the security forces had nabbed two suspected person along with three grenades and a pistol in one of the areas of Poonch district recently, following intense combing operation.
These searches were conducted after credible inputs about the movement of suspected terrorists.TDD
