Poonch:TDD,Troops of Indian Army fired shots late Wednesday night after spotting something odd near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir. Soldiers on watch duty near possible entry points saw some unusual activity close to Bagyaldara village and quickly opened fire.
An official confirmed the event, saying the troops were ready for any attempts to sneak through and acted fast to stop it. They’re still looking into what exactly was going on.
At the same time, the Army stepped up security in the area, setting up a strong blockade around where they thought the activity happened. This move is meant to keep anyone from sneaking in and to protect the border.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported from the Army’s firing. However, a comprehensive search operation was initiated at dawn on Thursday to thoroughly examine the area and gather further intelligence.TDD
