MENDHAR: TDD- An Indian Army Jawan today was martyred in a land mine blast during a patrolling duty along the Line of Control (LoC) in Mandi, Poonch District.
As per the reports, the soldier was on his routine patrol duty along the LoC in Mandi when he inadvertently stepped on a land mine leading to its explosion.
In this explosion, the reports claim that he sustained critically injured and subsequently succumbed to the injuries after he was rushed to the nearest hospital. The martyred soldier has been identified as Subaish.
Further investigation into the matter has been carried out by the police as well as the army.TDD
