Kupwara: DD, Security forces opened fire after observing suspicious movement along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kupwara sector of north Kashmir on Monday evening, sources said
Official sources said that the incident occurred around 7 PM when troops deployed in the forward area detected movement near the border fence.
“Our troops noticed suspicious activity along the LoC and immediately opened fire,” official sources told Kashmir News Corner (KNC).
They said that search operations are currently underway in the area to verify if there was any infiltration attempt.
“Operations are continuing, and further details will be shared once the area is fully sanitized,” sources added. (KNC)
