JAMMU: TDD,In an unprecedented initiative, the students from Army Public School, Rakhmuthi today embarked on an exhilarating journey to the Line of Control, where they gained first-hand experience of military life.
As per the Defence PRO Jammu, Indian Army officials educated the students on their own deployment, enemy posts and various surveillance techniques.
“The thrill-seeking students enjoyed a joy ride in Indian army vehicles, navigating rugged terrain of the forward area and also carried out Small Arms firing at the long range under supervision of Indian Army officials,” the statement reads.
It stated that the visit was aimed to foster patriotism, teamwork, and leadership skills among the students giving them an insight into the life of an Indian Army soldier.TDD
