Army Training Command to Honour Excellence at Annual Investiture Ceremony on July 3

New Delhi, (DD):The Army Training Command (ARTRAC) is set to host its annual Investiture Ceremony on 03 July 2025, a prestigious event that celebrates and rewards exceptional contributions across the spectrum of military training and innovation.

The ceremony will be presided over by Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Army Training Command. It stands as a testament to ARTRAC’s enduring commitment to cultivating a culture of excellence, innovation, and resilience within the Indian Army.

As part of the celebrations, five training establishments will be awarded the coveted Army Commander’s Unit Citation, in recognition of their stellar performance in the domains of training, leadership, and innovation over the past year.

In addition to the Unit Citations:

Three establishments will receive the Financial Excellence Awards for exemplary financial management.

Three more will be honoured with the e-Office Excellence Award to promote the adoption of digital workflows over traditional physical processes.

In the individual category, nine personnel will be awarded for their contributions to technological innovation, highlighting efforts that are expected to enhance both operational and organisational efficiency. Select individuals will also be presented with ‘On the Spot’ Commendation Cards by the GOC-in-C for distinguished service in their respective areas of expertise.

The ARTRAC Investiture Ceremony continues to be a cornerstone event, reflecting the Indian Army’s dedication to recognising excellence, encouraging innovation, and reinforcing the importance of professional development and modernisation within its ranks(DD)
