Assembly Elections-2024 :- DEO Udhampur reviews Postal Ballot service for employees deployed for election duty

UDHAMPUR, TDD: District Election Officer Udhampur Saloni Rai chaired a crucial meeting to take department-wise review of the number of forms received for availing the service of postal ballots by employee voters deployed for election duty.

The meeting witnessed the active participation of Returning Officers,  the District Level Nodal Officer  and other officers.

The meeting focused on ensuring that all eligible out of station voters, including polling personnel, police, and other staff deployed on election duties, are facilitated effectively in exercising their voting rights through postal ballots. The DEO Udhampur instructed all officers to ensure timely processing of the forms and to adhere to the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission of India.TDD
