Jammu :TDD,Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Friday organized a program in village Chakroi of Suchetgarh assembly constituency and paid tribute to the architect of Indian constitution, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 69th Mahaparinirvan Divas.
Program Organized under the chairmanship of BSP Suchetgarh assembly constituency coordinator Bishan Das Bhagat, BSP Jammu-Kashmir president Darshan Rana was present during the program. Apart from this, senior leaders and workers of the party were also present who offered flowers to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s picture and paid true tribute to him on their behalf.
In his address on this occasion, BSP President Darshan Rana said that like other states of the country, in Jammu and Kashmir too, tribute is being paid to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, on his Mahaparinirvan Diwas and under the same, today in Suchetgarh assembly constituency, the party has organized a program to pay tribute to Baba Sahib Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Rana said that the death anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is celebrated every year as Mahaparinirvan Diwas. He told that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar died on 6 December 1956 and today there is a need to spread his thoughts to the people! He said that Bahujan Samaj Party is working to take Baba Saheb thoughts forward and is contributing for the welfare of the backward and Dalit class of the society.
BSP state chief said that the world’s longest written constitution was prepared under the chairmanship of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and he worked to give equal rights to every citizen of the country in the constitution and especially to the people of Dalit class and backward class. Baba Saheb struggled in his life and came in front of us as an example amidst the struggle! Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim rao Ambedkar always raised his voice against the wrong notions like casteism prevalent in the society and dedicated his entire life to ending discrimination! He said that today some forces in the country want to weaken the constitution but Bahujan Samaj Party is always ready to protect the constitution. On this occasion, along with Vidhan Sabha Coordinator Bishan Das Bhagat, other party leaders also expressed their views and paid tribute to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. On this occasion, other party leaders including Tarsem Lal Tarachand and Raj kumar Bhagat were also present.TDD
