Baramulla Attack: Injured soldier succumbs, Toll mounts to 5

Srinagar, Oct 25 (TDD): One more injured solider succumbed today taking the total death toll in Bouthpathri, Gulamarg, Baramulla attack to five.

Sources said that one of the three injured soliders succumbed this afternoon while two others are battling for life

An official said that the death toll in Gulmarg terror attack has mounted to five, as another soldier, who was being operated in the hospital has succumbed.

Yesterday, terrorists attacked army convoy at Bouthpathri, Gulamarg killing two porters and two soldiers. Three more soldiers were injured of which one succmbed today.

Following attack, the security forces intensified search operations in the area to nab the attackers.

Meanwhile, Chinar Corps — Indian Army expressed solidarity and condolences with the bereaved families. “All ranks of the Chinar Corps salute the supreme sacrifices of the bravehearts, who laid down their lives in the line of duty”, a post on X reads.
