Former legislator Yawar Mir leads delegation to highlight pressing issues before party president

Srinagar, DD: Former legislator and Apni Party’s prominent leader Yawar Dilawar Mir, on Friday, led a delegation from Rafiabad, Baramulla, to meet the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The delegation, comprising members of civil society and the local trade body, apprised Mr. Bukhari of certain issues they are facing, urging him to bring these matters to the notice of the concerned officials for swift resolution. Besides Mir, prominent members of the delegation included Mohammad Ashraf Shah, president of the Traders Federation, and Basharat Mehraj, chairman of Civil Society Rafiabad.
According to a statement issued by the party, the delegation brought certain administrative and political issues affecting the people to the notice of Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.
He gave a patient hearing to the visiting delegation and assured them that he would bring these issues to the notice of the concerned authorities to ensure their prompt resolution.DD
