Bhaderwah Campus organizes traffic awareness rally

Bhaderwah, DD, The School of Education, Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, in collaboration with the Traffic Police Doda, organized a Traffic Awareness Rally to sensitize students and the local community about the importance of road safety and responsible driving.

The rally, attended by students, faculty and officials from Traffic Police Doda aimed to spread awareness regarding traffic rules and regulations.

The students, holding placards with impactful slogans, marched enthusiastically from Bhaderwah Campus, passing through various routes in the town before culminating back at the campus. The event highlighted the significance of following traffic rules, wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding overspeeding, and adhering to traffic signals to prevent road accidents.

Rector Bhaderwah Campus, Prof. Rahul Gupta, in his message congratulated the School of Education, Bhaderwah Campus, and the Traffic Police Doda for organizing the rally and appreciated their efforts in promoting road safety awareness. He emphasized the role of educational institutions in instilling civic sense and responsibility among the youth.

On this occasion, Dr. Kuljit Singh, Academic Coordinator and In-Charge, Department of School of Education, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of traffic management in ensuring road safety. He urged students to act as responsible citizens and spread the message of safe driving practices within their communities.

The initiative was well received by the participants and the local public, reinforcing the need for collective efforts in ensuring safer roads and responsible commuting.DD
