Jammu : TDD,BJP Kashmir Displaced District today organized a program to observe “Veer Bal Diwas” in honor of the martyrdom of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the brave sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The event was held at the BJP Kashmir Displaced District office, Kacchi Chawni, Jammu, in the presence of District President Chand Jee Bhat and other esteemed dignitaries.
District President Chand Jee Bhat highlighted the unparalleled sacrifices of the Sahibzadas, stating, “Their sacrifice is a shining example of valor and a steadfast commitment to one’s values. We also pay homage to the bravery of Mata Gujri Ji and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who stood with supreme courage against the oppressive Mughal rule, choosing martyrdom over forced conversion.”
Seh Prabhari Hira Lal Bhat, speaking on the occasion, said, “The unparalleled bravery exhibited by the Sahibzadas serves as a timeless inspiration for generations to come. Their courage and commitment to their faith remain unmatched in history.”
Chetan Wanchoo, who was also the Convenor of the program, delivered an insightful speech on the life and legacy of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, bringing their sacrifices to light for all present.
Adding to the solemnity of the occasion, Mahila Morcha President Smt. Dolly recited a heartfelt song paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the Sahibzadas.
The program witnessed the active participation of several senior leaders and office bearers, including General Secretary Moti Lal Bhat, Vice Presidents Sweety Koul, Vimal Raina, Rakesh Sadhu, Mandal Presidents Pyare Lal and Bhushan Lal, along with many other office bearers.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the values and legacy of the Sahibzadas, ensuring that their sacrifices continue to inspire generations to come.TDD
