Udhampur :TDD,In order to prevent the trade & consumption of illicit liquor in the district udhampur Police arrested one bottlegger.
As per Reports acting promptly upon the specific information generated by the Police team of PP Tikri led by its ICPP regarding the trade/deal of illicit liquor in the area. Police team apprehended one person namely Bobby Kumar S/O Krishan Lal R/O Kun Daroorian, Katra, from Katra-Tikri road who tried to flee from the spot on seeing the police team.
During frisking/checking, 72 quarters of JK Special Whisky (250 ml) were recovered which he had kept in his possession. The said person has been arrested on spot.
In this regards, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rehambal and further investigation taken up.TDD
