Udhampur :TDD, In order to prevent the trade & consumption/production of illicit liquor in the district.
As per reports Police team of PP Tikri led by its ICPP while performing routine patrolling duty at Manthal area apprehended one person namely Gopal Dutt S/O Hem Raj R/O Manthal who was turning to be suspicious as he tried to flee from the spot on seeing police team.
During frisking/checking, 70 quarters of JK Special Whisky (250 ml) were recovered which he had kept in his possession. The said person has been arrested on spot.
In this regards, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rehambal and further investigation taken up.TDD
