BSF constable injured in cross border fight along IB in RS Pura, gives supreme sacrifice

Jammu: DD, A brave heart of Border Security Force (BSF) has succumbed to the critical injuries he suffered during a heavy gunfight across the International Border in R.S. Pura sector on May 10, 2025.
As per the officials, the brave heart, BSF constable, Deepak Chimngakham gave supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation.


“He sustained fatal injuries during cross-border firing along the International Boundary in R S Pura area, District Jammu on 10 May 2025, and attained martyrdom on 11 May 2025,” the officials added.
The DG BSF and all ranks express their deepest condolences to his family. The wreath laying ceremony with full honours shall take place tomorrow at Frontier HQ Jammu, Paloura.
Importantly, the BSF Sub Inspector, Mohammed Imtiyaz also martyred on May 10, 2025 in RS Pura during a cross border firing with Pakistan along the International Border. The defence forces and paramilitary have been defending the border security shoulder to shoulder.DD
