Pakistan opens heavy fire on civilian areas in RS Pura, Arnia

Jammu: The troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) claimed to have destroyed terror launch pads across the International Border in Pakistan.
The BSF official said that on 09 May 2025, Pakistan initiated unprovoked firing on BSF posts in the Jammu Sector.
Accordingly, the BSF responded in a commensurate manner, causing widespread damage to the posts and assets of the Pakistan Rangers along the International Boundary. “The terrorist lunch pad at Looni, District Sialkot opposite the Akhnoor area was completely destroyed by the BSF,” the official added.
The security grid has been heightened and alertness is observed all along the International Border in Jammu, Samba and Kathua to foil any kind of terror attempt.
Last night up to the early morning, the reports claim that Pakistan has pounded heavily and opened unprovoked fire on civilian areas along the International Border in RS Pura, Arnia.
In one of the villages, the locals claim that a Pakistani drone was also detected and destroyed by the Indian armed forces in RS Pura. Further details are awaited.
