Jammu,DD, 76th Republic Day is celebrated in Frontier Headquarter BSF Jammu at Shaheed Dy Comdt Veer Dev Stadium with full patriotic fervour. IG D K Boora Jammu Ftr unfurled tricolour in the presence of officers , so’s and Jawans. He conveyed his warm wishes to all Seema Praharis serving at the International border/LC and their families and recalled the supreme sacrifices of border men especially commitments of their families towards Nation.
IG BSF informed that BSF always stood firm against all challenges on the border and committed for the safety and security of the nation. It has been the endeavour of BSF to provide safety and security to border population with effective border management as a first line of defence;
