Leh, DD: Hon’ble Chairman/CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson, in the presence of Hon’ble Executive Councillor Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor met Dilshad Ali, son of Mr. Mohd Ali and congratulated him for his exceptional achievements in recent national tournaments.
Dilshad’s success was highlighted in the 68th National School Games (2024-25), where he competed in the U-17 Boxing Championship, representing Ladakh. In the 60-63 kg weight category, he secured a well-deserved Third Place in the competition, which was held on December 15, 2024, in Delhi.
Earlier, Dilshad triumphed in the 1st UT Ladakh Boxing Championship, where he represented the Leh District and clinched the Gold Medal in the 63 kg weight category. This event, organised by the Ladakh Amateur Boxing Association in collaboration with the Boxing Federation of India, took place from October 13-15, 2024.
Additionally, Dilshad showcased his talent on a national level in the Khelo India, All India Inter SAI Boxing Championship 2024, held at the SAI NCOE in Aurangabad. Competing in the 61 kg weight category in the sub-junior division, he won the Silver Medal from November 4-17, 2024.
Congratulating Dilshad on his remarkable performances, CEC Tashi Gyalson and EC Ghulam Mehdi praised his dedication, hard work, and determination in making Ladakh proud.
