Kargil, DD, A key preparatory meeting regarding the 2nd Convocation of the University of Ladakh was held today at the Tourist Facilitation Centre (TFC) Bemathang, Kargil. The meeting was convened under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, along with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ladakh, Prof Saket Kushwaha.
The upcoming convocation is scheduled to take place on 5th September 2025, and will mark a significant milestone in the academic journey of the University of Ladakh. During the meeting, various logistical, administrative, and ceremonial aspects of the event were discussed in detail to ensure its smooth and successful execution.
Hon’ble CEC Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon assured the Vice Chancellor and university authorities of the complete cooperation and support from LAHDC Kargil in organizing the convocation. He emphasized the importance of the occasion in celebrating academic excellence and empowering the youth of Ladakh.
Vice Chancellor Prof.Saket Kushwaha extended heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble CEC for his unwavering support and commitment towards higher education in the region.
