Jammu :TDD,Army Public School Sunjuwan celebrated its Annual Cum Sports Day on the theme ‘UDAAN- Chase the Dream, Seize the Win’ on 30 Nov 24, where a vibrant showcase of athleticism, teamwork and holistic development was seen. GOC, 26 Infantry Divisio and Patron, APS Sunjuwan was the Chief Guest of the occasion. To mark the beginning of the event, a bunch of colourful balloons were released by the Patron & Chairman, APS Sunjuwan.
Principal, APS Sunjuwan in his welcome address, presented the Annual Report of the school and also emphasized on the importance of sports in fostering discipline, perseverance and camaraderie. The day’s proceedings began with an impressive showcase of school’s orchestra group followed by March past by all the houses. A series of exciting track and field events kept the energy high, with students competing in race, relays and more. Tug-of-war added an element of fun and community engagement. Cultural performances including a vibrant dance display by Balvatika & Primary wing of the school added a festive flair to the event, demonstrating the multifaceted talents of the students.
Chief Guest addressed the audience and commended the school’s efforts in promoting all-round development and encouraged students to strive for excellence both in academics and co-curricular activities.
The day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where medals and trophies were presented to the winners, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Coordinator, APS Sunjuwan. The National Anthem marked the end of the event, leaving attendees with a sense of pride and inspiration.
The Annual Cum Sports Day of Army School was a grand success, reaffirming the institution’s dedication to developing confident, and well-rounded individuals.TDD
