Kishtwar,TDD,The celebrations for the 71st All India Cooperative Week began with great enthusiasm and zeal in District Kishtwar, marked by a flag-hoisting ceremony. The cooperative flag was unfurled by Sh. Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal, Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Kishtwar.
This event was a significant occasion to recognize the cooperative movement’s importance in fostering community development and economic empowerment at the grassroots level.
Celebrations will continue throughout the week under the main theme, “Role of Cooperatives in Building Viksit Bharat,” with various activities planned to highlight cooperatives’ vital role in the nation’s social and economic fabric.
The ceremony reflected a strong sense of unity and cooperation, underscoring the cooperative sector’s continued relevance and growth in District Kishtwar.
Key officials attended the inauguration, including all Assistant Registrars, the Branch Manager of JCC Bank, Cooperative Department staff, members of the Managing Committee, officials from CMS, Kishtwar, and representatives from various PACS and other cooperative institutions in the region.TDD
