Naushera:DD, In a heartening display of support and solidarity, Praveena Mukherjee, the Chairperson of the Army Women Welfare Association (AWWA), Ace of Spades Division, engaged in an important interaction with the Veer Naris from various villages of Naushera block.
This event, held at the Naushera Military Station, was a moment to honour and paying tribute to the brave women who have shown immense courage and resilience in the face of loss.
The Veer Naris, who have bravely upheld the legacy of their late husbands who laid down their lives in the service of the nation, continue to support their families with unwavering dignity.
A total of twenty Veer Naris attended the session, where they had the opportunity to voice their concerns and present various welfare-related issues. Their courage, strength and dedication were acknowledged and celebrated by all in attendance.
During the session, Praveena Mukherjee assured the Veer Naris that the Army is committed to their welfare. She reiterated that their well-being is a top priority and all possible assistance would be provided.
Mukherjee also requested that the concerned authorities take swift and decisive action to address the issues raised by the Veer Naris, ensuring that their concerns are resolved promptly.
Highlighting the importance of these interactions, Mukherjee emphasized that Veer Naris are an inalienable part of the Indian Army family. It is our collective responsibility to ensure their welfare and well-being through continued efforts, regular interactions and unwavering support.
